Our approach to strategic planning is simple. If it does not result in a useful aspirational vision for the future, and a roadmap of how to get from here to there, then you should not bother.
Our goal is to do both.
Our planning methodology will provide you, your board and your team, with a vision for the future including strategic objectives and the long term initiatives to accomplish them. At the same time, we will work together to map out a 12-18 month tactical plan that align with the strategy.
You end up with a roadmap that can be used, day in and day out, to help you prioritize your short term activities, based on how they get you closer to your shared vision for the future.
Interim CEO Services
John knows firsthand the unique challenges of successfully leading a nonprofit agency. He also understands the needs of organizations who would benefit from an interim executive. Someone to help keep the integrity of the mission intact, while assisting the board and staff to recruit and train a permanent replacement.
John is also one of a handful of individuals in northern California who have successfully completed the Nonprofit Interim Executives Certification coursework, produced and backed by the Interim Executive Academy.
Significantly, our interim executive services are about capacity building, as much as they are about providing leadership and integrity between permanent CEOs. Our goal is to hand the reigns to the next leader better off than how we found them, though the use of a structured process and set of best practices.
